Father Ed Broom in his Friday night Perseverance talk devotes his efforts to the Feast of Corpus Christi – this Sunday, June 10, 2012.
He gives us the Biblical explanations of the Eucharist both in the Old and New Testaments. He places our belief in the Eucharist in an ecclesial context by explaining several key Papal documents and Sacrosanctum Concilium from Vatican Two. He explains clearly the need to both have the Dogma and the Devotion and gives several examples of ways to deepen our devotion. His prayer is that every day each of us would fall more and more in love with Jesus in the Eucharist.
