Father Broom preaches on the Solemnity of All Saints – November 1, 2012.

The Saints are our older brothers and sisters in the faith and are our role models. Our job is to imitate them in their love of God, spirit of sacrifice, and heroic virtue. Then we can join the parade!

Father Broom preaches on the reality of Hell. Contemplating the visions of Saint Faustina and the children of Fatima is all the motivation we need to avoid Hell. Hell is a reality that God wants us to avoid…. he gives us all the graces we need to avoid it…. if we cooperate with His graces.

Father Broom preaches on Sunday. October 28, 2012 on the Gospel of Mark 10: 46-52 – Our Lord’s cure of the Blindness of Bartamaeus. His sight was restored. We are all blessed to have our sight yet we are blind to the ravenous wolf within our own homes. This wolf is pornography! Men, women and children are becoming addicted to this horrible vice. It is the most common addiction in America and causes an addiction more difficult to break than many drugs.

Father Broom presents the dangers and the means to tame this beast.

Father Broom talks on the Sunday Gospel of October 27 – Mark 10: 46-52 –
the healing of Bartimaeus.

“What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied to him, “Master, I want to see.” Jesus told him, “Go your way; your faith has saved you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way.

How about us? We have sight but do we see? Do we see the glory of God’s creation all around us? Do we see Christ in the poor and helpless? Do we see God in all things and all things in God? Or are we as blind as Bartimaeus. No one is as blind as he who will not see. Is that me?

Father Broom speaks at his Friday evening Perseverance Group about Purgatory. Why it exists… what it is like according to the saints… why it is necessary. We know that Hell is a permanent destination but time in Purgatory always leads to Heaven…. that is why we call those in Purgatory- The Holy Souls – they are Saints and are the Church Suffering.

Father explains Indulgences and how to receive them from the Treasury of Grace the Church dispenses.
