Father Ed Broom, OMV, serves as Associate Pastor at St. Peter Chanel Church in Hawaiian Gardens, California. Father Ed Broom asks three questions: Do you want to go to Heaven? Yes? Do you want to become a great saint? No? Then he asks, who is in Heaven? God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Mary, the angels, and … right, the saints! So if we want to go to Heaven we have to become saints! Today’s homily is about becoming holy… becoming a saint! We have a wonderful example in our newest saint in the Catholic Church – Saint Teresa of Calcutta!
