Fr. Ed exhorts us to prepare for the birthday of the Church the – Feast of Pentecost – by growing in our love and devotion to the Holy Spirit. One of the titles given to the Holy Spirit in the Catechism of the Catholic Church is “gift of gifts”. The Holy Spirit is God! He is the same substance of the Father and the son; He is equal in dignity, but distinct in Personhood. He is the third person of the Trinity. Read the Acts of the Apostles which the church reads during the Easter season.
