She is the daughter of God the Father, the Mother of God the Son, the Mystical Spouse of the Holy Spirit—the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is the morning star, the tower of ivory, the Ark of the Covenant, the Lily most pure—the Blessed Virgin Mary.
She is the refuge of sinners, our life, our sweetness and our hope, the hand to lift up the fallen and despairing—the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is our life amidst the menaces of the culture of death, our sweetness engulfed in the mire of bitter and painful experiences, the hope when all points to despair—the Blessed Virgin Mary.
She is the Queen of angels, the Queen of Martyrs, the Queen of Confessors, the Queen of Virgins, the Queen of all saints and the Queen of the most Holy Rosary—the Blessed Virgin Mary.
She is the masterpiece of all creation, the delight of artists, the melody of musicians, the expressive and superb words of literary masters—once again, this is the Blessed Virgin Mary
In the midst of the tempests, turmoils, storms and deluges beating fiercely against the bark of our soul, she is the Stella Maris (The Star of the Sea); as the darkness dissipates and the morning sky beckons a new beginning, she is the Morning star—the Blessed Virgin Mary.
When the devil, the flesh and the world aggressively knock at the door of our hearts to seduce us from what is true, pure, noble and good, then the most pure, innocent and noble, Lily of the Field, Mystical Rose, and the most fragrant and beautiful in God’s garden will be present to guard and protect us—it is the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Therefore, let us call upon Mary, invoke Mary, entrust our cares to Mary, pray fervently to Mary and die in the loving arms and Heart of Mary.
