Trinity Sunday, June 3, 2012.
Father Broom, in his Sunday homily reflects on the glories, the symbols and the mystery of the Trinity. Our limited understanding can not grasp the nature of this central belief of our faith. But we can praise God in His glory and realize his work and presence in our lives – Father Son and Holy Spirit. We know we can approach the Trinity through the daughter of the Father, the Mother of the Son and the Mystical Spouse of the Holy Spirit – Mary who is our life, our sweetness and our hope.
Father Ed Broom, OMV, is Associate Pastor of St. Peter Chanel Church in Hawaiian Gardens, California. He is a member of the Oblates of the Virgin Mary and was ordained by Saint John Paul II on May 25, 1986. Fr Ed’s teaches Catholic Ignatian Marian Spirituality through articles, podcasts, a radio show, retreats and spiritual direction.
