Father Broom using the Gospel of the Feast day of St. Andrew (Matthew 4:18-22) show us that every call from God to grow in holiness, to become a saint, to follow His will more closely has the three D’s. Dissatisfaction, Discovery, Decision
We suffer dissatisfaction… we know we aren’t living as we should or we have the sense there is more to life.
We discover the person of Jesus Christ and know this is the answer to our uneasiness.
We make a decision, like Andrew and Peter, to leave our life and follow Him.
We call that process “Vocation” – discovering God’s will for our lives. St. Louis De Montfort says that we all have the same vocation: to grow in holiness and that is God’s will for our lives.
