JESUS SE APARECE A SIETE DISCIPULOS JUNTO AL MAR DE GALILEA | EJERCICIOS ESPIRITUALES | 15 ABRIL

GRACIAS A PEDIR:   

  1. ALEGARNOS Y GOZAR INTENSAMENTE… de tanta gloria y gozo de Cristo, nuestro Señor. (Ejercicios Espirituales #221)  
  2. Meditemos, “como la Divinidad que parecía esconderse en la pasión, aparece y se manifiesta ahora tan milagrosamente en la santísima resurrección, por los verdaderos y santos efectos de ella” (Ejercicios Espirituales #224)
  3. Por último, consideremos el “oficio de consolar que Cristo nuestro Señor trae, y comparando cómo unos amigos suelen consolar a otros.”  Consolar aquí quiere decir: reunir, liberar y enviar.  (Ejercicios Espirituales #224)

 

JESÚS SE APARECE A SIETE DISCÍPULOS JUNTO AL MAR DE GALILEA.  Juan 21, 1-14

 

  1. GRACIA A PEDIR. ¡Pidamos nuevamente intensísimo gozo!  El motivo de nuestro gozo es JESÚS QUIEN HA RESUCITADO DE ENTRE LOS MUERTOS y ha llegado a para consolar, alimentar y fortalecer a sus Apóstoles en la fe.  El Papa Francisco en su Exhortación Apostólica el Gozo del Evangelio, nos exhorta y anima a que nos alegremos en el Evangelio – la palabra Evangelio significa “Buenas Noticias”.  La fuente de nuestro gozo es la Persona de Cristo y el Misterio Pascual.  Excuchemos y meditemos su exhortación:   

Cuando Jesús comienza su ministerio, Juan exclama: «Ésta es mi alegría, que ha llegado a su plenitud» (Jn 3,29). Jesús mismo «se llenó de alegría en el Espíritu Santo» (Lc 10,21). Su mensaje es fuente de gozo: «Os he dicho estas cosas para que mi alegría esté en vosotros, y vuestra alegría sea plena» (Jn 15,11). Nuestra alegría cristiana bebe de la fuente de su corazón rebosante. Él promete a los discípulos: «Estaréis tristes, pero vuestra tristeza se convertirá en alegría» (Jn 16,20). E insiste: «Volveré a veros y se alegrará vuestro corazón, y nadie os podrá quitar vuestra alegría» (Jn 16,22). Después ellos, al verlo resucitado, «se alegraron» (Jn 20,20).   (El Gozo del Evangelio, Papa Francisco, #5)   El Evangelio rebosa de pasajes que invitan insistemente a la alegría, pero nuestro gozo debe ser como dice san Pablo: “Estén siempre alegres en el Señor; se lo repito, estén alegres.” (Flp 4,4)

  1. A PESCAR. Jesús ya les había hecho la invitación a que dejaran sus redes, sus barcas, su labor de pescadores y lo siguieran.  Ese fue el día de la pesca milagrosa en donde Pedro pesco tan gran número de peses que los otros apóstoles tuvieron que ayudarle a jalar las redes y barcas estaban por hundirse.  Pero después de la Resurrección los Apóstoles regresan a sus barcas con las redes en mano para pascar.  Pasan toda la noche en el mar de Galilea sin pescar nada.  Acaso se debe al hecho que Jesús no está en la barca con ellos?  Porque cuando pescan sin Jesús, no pescan nada.  ¿Qué entiende usted con esto?  Acaso ha intentado pescar un gran pes – ha intentado pescar una alma para Dios – el pes se le resvaló de las manos y no pescó nada? Talvez fue porque Jesús no estaba en la barca.  Habla con Jesús de esto, platíquele de las veces que hechó las redes y no consiguió pescar nada.  Hable con Jesús, que Él quiere escucharle.
  1. EL HOMBRE QUE ESTÁ A LA ORILLA DEL MAR. Conforme sale el sol, los apóstoles están por abandonar las redes porque no han pescado nada. Pero de repende, algo sucede.  Un hombre que no conocen les llama desde la orilla del mar y les dice: ¿Han pescado algo?  ¡Nada! responden ellos.  Él, con dulce senillez les dice: “Tiren las redes del otro lado”.  Los apóstoles, lo hacen.  ¡Y qué sorpresa se llevan!  De ese lado de la barca había un gran número de peses, pero ellos no se habían dado cuenta.  Las redes se llenan a tal grado que es imposible jalar las redes sin la ayuda de los compañeros que estaban en otra barca.  La pesca es enorme, más de lo que jamás se pudieron imaginar!
  1. LOS OJOS AVISORES DE JUAN: EL MÍSTICO!  Solo san Juan, el discípulo amado reconoce que el hombre que esta en la orilla no es un desconocido sino que era JESÚS.  Juan clama: “¡Es el Señor!”  Detengámonos para meditar esta realidad:  Ellos no reconocieron al Señor; estaban ciegos.  Para ellos, el Señor era un extraño que desde la orilla les decía que tiraran las redes.  De primeras, no lo reconocían.  Cuántas veces no hemos nosotros estado a lado de Jesús, casi rosando hombros con Él, pero por alguna razón no lo podemos ver.  Digámos como el ciego Bartomeo:  ¡SEÑOR QUIERO VER!  ¡ABRE MIS OJOS!  ¡AYÚDAME A RECONOCERTE!  ¡CURA MI CEGUERA!  Fue san Juan quién lo reconoció primero, tal vez por su pureza, talvez porque recline su cabeza sobre el Sagrado Corazón de Jesús en la Última Centa.  Y el fue a quién Jesús encomendó a su Madre.  Pidamos a Dios la gracia de ser como su discípulo amado – san Juan!
  1. ¡EL ENTUSIASMO DE PEDRO! Al escuchar que era el Señor, Pedro lo reconoce y no espera un minuto más.  ¿Qué hace?   Se ciñe porque iva escasamente vestido, se tira al mar y nadando con entusiasmo se dirige a la orilla del mar porque quiere estar con Jesús, quiere hablar con Él, quiere verlo y darle todo su amor.  Pida a Dios que le conceda un deseo ardiente de ver a Jesús, de hablar con Él, de escucharlo y de amarlo como el más íntimo amigo!  Pida a Dios que nunca demos por sentado a nuestro Señor, que nunca menospreciemos su amistad.  Pida a Dios la gracia de crecer en amor y conocimiento de Nuestro Señor.  Es hora de salir de la barca con san Pedro y tirarse al mar porque añora ver a Jesús, y no puede vivir si está lejos de Él!
  1. JESÚS EN LA ORILLA DEL MAR: ¡QUÉ GESTO TAN HERMOSO! Jesús está inactivo, mas bien está haciendo la voluntad de su Padre.  Jesús dijo que su Comida era hacer la voluntad de su Padre Celestial.  Y hablando de alimentos, Jesús sabe que estos hombres que han estado pescando han de tener mucha habre, y les prepara una parrillada!   Les tiene sobre la parrilla pescado y pan para satisfacer su hambre.  Este pequeño gesto nos revela a la Persona de Cristo – Jesús siempre piensa en los demás no en si mismo, siempre nos sierve y nos alimenta.   Jesús dijo: “El Hijo del hombre no ha venido a ser servido, sino a servir y a dar su vida como rescate por muchos.” Considere la forma en que Jesús sirve y mi papel en ser servicial?   ¿Qué tan serviciales somos?  ¿Estoy siempre presto para servir o acaso estoy siempre presto a ser servido? Hable con Nuestro Señor sobre este gesto que Él hizo de servir a sus Apóstoles.  Pregúntele: “Señor, ¿cómo puedo yo servir más?
  1. LA RED. Jesús les dice que traigan las redes llenas de peses.  Pedro pronto se pone de pie y sigue las instrucciones de Jesús.  Veamos por un momento a la persona de Pedro.  Pedro ha de haber sido un hombre muy fuerte porque él solo jaló las redes llenas de peses.  El Evangelista san Juan hace hincapie de esto dándonos el número y el tamaño de los peses.  San Juan dice que pescaron 153 grandes peses.   Todo esto tiene un significado apostólico:  tirar las redes, obedecer la Palabra de Jesús, jalar las redes y el número de peses.  Jesús vuelve a retar a Pedro a que sea pescador de hombres.  Pongáse en el lugar de Pedro, imagine este encuentro entre Jesús y Pedro.  Pedro se maravilla al ver la pesca milagrosa, y sabe bien la gran pesca no se logró no por algún mérito suyo sino porque Jesús intervino. Le da gusto a usted ver sus “redes apóstolicas” y se alegra de los “peses” que Jesús quiere que usted pesque?  Ruegue a Dios que le de intensísimo gozo por Jesús Resucitado.  Recuerde las palabras de san Pablo:  “Hay más gozo en dar que en recibir.”
  1. COMPARTIR UNA COMIDA CON JESÚS. Jesús da de comer a los Apóstoles.  Ya nadie duda que es Jesús.  Jesús es el “Pan de Vida” que satisface toda hambre y todo anhelo.  Ahora Jesús se regocija de estar con sus amigos y de alimentarlos.  Por qué no se acerca y se une a los Apóstoles y comparte esta humilde comida a las horas de la mañana en las orillas del lago de Galilea.   Claro, ellos satifacian su hambre pero también se alegraban por estar con Jesús.  En la Transfiguración, Pedro dice: “Señor, ¡qué bueno es estaraquí contigo! Y esto es lo que están viviendo Pedro y los Apóstoles esta mañana.  El gozo de nuestro corazón debe ser de estar con Nuestro Señor en el tiempo y en la eternidad.  Jesús nos llama todos los días a que estemos con Él en nuestra Hora Santa, en nuestros quehaceres cotidianos y en las circunstancias de la vida.  Nos invita a la Eucaristía para que nos sentamos a la mesa una vez con Él para que nos alimentemos de Él.  Vuelva a leer el Discurso del Pan de Vida en el Evangelio de san Juan (Jn 6, 22-71).     
  1. ¡VAMOS A CAMINAR Y A PLATICAR! Después de la comida, Jesús aparta a Pedro; Jesús desea estar a solas y hablar con él.  Contemplación:  Con los ojos de la imaginación vea a Jesús caminado con Pedro en las orillas del mar de Galilea.  Algo le pesa en el corazón de Simón Pedro, y tiene que ver con la profesía que hizo Jesús el Jueves Santo.   Siguen resonando estas palabras en los oidos de Pedro  “Todos ustedes se escandalizarán de mí esta noche; porque escrito está: Heriré al pastor, y las ovejas del rebaño serán dispersadas.”  Pedro vuelve a escucahar lo que él dijo sin pensar —“Aunque todos te abandonen, yo no teabandonaré”  Pedro vuelve a escuchar que Jesús le responde:  “Yo te aseguro: esta misma noche, antes que el gallo cante, me habrás negado tres veces.” Estas palabras siguen resonando vivamente en mientras camina con Jesús a la orilla del mar.  Pedro vuelve a recordar con gran dolor todo lo que acontesió la noche del Jueves Santo.  Vivamente ve que arrestan a Jesús y cómo con tanta desdidia el sigue a Jesús de lejos. Ahora se ve afuera de donde Jesús fue interrogado.  Pedro vuelve a escuchar que le preguntan tres veces si él es uno de los discípulos de Cristo. Y vuelve a escuchar su propia voz que insiste “no lo conozco”  Esto es lo que Pedro está reviviendo mientras camina con Jesús a la orilla del mar de Galilea!
  1. USTED Y PEDRO. Ahora le toca a usted rebobinar la película de su propia vida mientras camina en la orilla del mar de Galilea.  Ya no es Pedro quién camina con Jesús, ES USTED.  Platíquele a Jesús sobre todo lo que ha vivido, lo bueno y lo malo.  Hable con Él desde el fondo de su corazón y comparta con Él qué ha hecho por el, qué está haciendo en este momento por Él, y qué piensa hacer por Él el día de mañana.  San Ignacio nos exhorta a que nos hagamos estas importantes preguntas: “Qué he hecho YO por Jesús (el pasado), qué estoy haciendo por Jesús en este momento (el presente), y qué pienso hacer por Él el día de mañana (el futuro).”  Con estas tres preguntas tenemos amplio material para dialogar con el Señor.  ¡No demore más!  Emprenda un profundo diálogo con el Señor Resucitado quien quiere llenar su corazón de gozo!
