RECONCILIACIÓN. En el plano espiritual el pecado mortal es la muerte
espiritual, es perder la presencia del Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo y
perder amistad con Jesús. ¡Pero hay
buenas noticias! La confesión con una
buena preparación, con sinceros sentimientos de dolor por los pecados y un
sincero deseo de enmendar la vida, causa que Jesús vuelva a nacer en el
alma. Qué consuelo tan maravilloso y
consolador es escuchar las palabras: » Yo te absuelvo de tus pecados en el
nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo». A través de la Confesión Sacramental, Jesús
nace una vez más en el fondo del alma.

hombre a quien le había dado la capa la noche anterior sino era Jesús. Este acto de caridad llevó a Martín a su
conversión al catolicismo, más tarde al sacerdocio, después a obispo, y después
al más generoso de obispos y ahora Santo.
A san Martín de Tours lo honramos cada año el 11 de noviembre. Jesús nació en ese encuentro entre Martín y
el hombre pobre y casi desnudo. Jesús
dijo, «Estaba desnudo y me vestisteis… cuanto hicisteis a uno de estos
hermanos míos más pequeños, a mí me lo hicisteis…(MT. 25).
5. EN EL SANTO SACRIFICIO DE LA MISA JESÚS NACE. Una de las cuatro Constituciones Dogmáticas de los documentos del Vaticano II, Sacrosanctum Concilium nos recuerda de las varias «presencias» de Jesús, pero en particular «Su Presencia Real». Entonces, ¿cómo es que Jesús está presente y vuelve a nacer en la oración más grande — el Santo Sacrificio de la Misa? Dios está presente en la asamblea que ora porque Jesús dice, «Donde hay dos o tres reunidos en mi Nombre, allí estoy yo en medio de ellos». Jesús también está presente en el canto. San Agustín dice: «Quien canta bien reza dos veces.» Aún más, Dios nos habla en su palabra cuando se lee la Biblia en la Misa, pero sobre todo cuando se lee el Evangelio.
Cuando se lee el Evangelio, es verdaderamente Jesús mismo quien nos habla. Una de las definiciones clásicas para el sacerdote es «alter christus», que significa, «otro Cristo». Por tal, Dios está presente en el Santo Sacrificio de la Misa a través del ministerio y persona del sacerdote. Aún más y de suma importancia, Jesús está verdaderamente y substancialmente presente en la Misa en el momento de la Consagración cuando el sacerdote toma el pan y el vino y pronuncia las mismas palabras que Jesús pronunció en la Última Cena, «Tomad y comed este es mi Cuerpo, tomad y bebed esta es mi Sangre. Haced esto en memoria mía». Verdaderamente, ¡es Navidad! En ese preciso momento de la doble Consagración, Jesús nace. Se hace presente sacramentalmente y verdaderamente en su Cuerpo, Sangre, Alma y Divinidad. «¡Venid adoremos!».
Por supuesto el seguimiento natural después de la CONSAGRACIÓN es el momento culminante de la SANTA COMUNIÓN. En este momento Jesús verdaderamente nace en el corazón en gracia de los fieles que lo reciben. El corazón se transforma en un «Belén» vivo—la palabra »Belén» significa «Casa de pan». Cantando el canto de la Navidad, «O pequeña casa de Belén» nos damos cuenta que nuestro corazón es esa casa que recibe a Jesús en la Santa Comunión. Jesús el «Pan de Vida» (Jn. 6. El Discurso del Pan Vida) desea nacer en Belén, «La casa de pan» y entrar a nuestros corazones que son «un Belén vivo». «Venid adoremos a Cristo Señor.» Jesús está verdaderamente presente en la Santa Misa pero especialmente en su «Presencia Real», en el más grande de todos los Sacramentos, la Santa Eucaristía, el Pan de Vida.
