 Very rarely does the Church celebrate a saint on two different days. We celebrate the birth of John the Baptist on June 24, and today August 29 his martyrdom. Jesus said of John the Baptist, “Of all men born of women, there is none greater than John the Baptist.” Father Ed Broom gives us three virtues of St. John the Baptist that we want to emulate in our pursuit of holiness.
