Mass homily
Fr. Ed Broom comments on the opening prayer: The hope of God´s heavenly grace. Every day we should pray that we understand grace better; that we appreciate grace; we grow in grace; if we have the misfortune to loose grace, to return to grace as soon as possible; and to turn to the Full of Grace. Let us beg the Full of Grace that we would appreciate grace more and more.

The Doctor of grace, St Augustine, says that if we are able do to any good, it is God´s grace. When we are able to do good, it is called prevenient grace, every good action is preceded by Gods grace. As the psalmist says: “Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory.”

JACINTA AND OUR LADY OF FATIMA

Fr Ed Broom recounts what transpired on July 13th, 1917, the 3rd apparition of Our Lady to the three shepherd children, this is what happened: Mary opens up her hands and tells the children to look down.  They see a very graphic vision of hell.What did they see?  An ocean of fire.  Amidst the flames they could see other things, among which were souls that were condemned to hell.  They saw some souls that were transparent, others were bronze, some were dark colored, others were brown and others were pitch black.  And they were floating around without equilibrium. Some of the souls were  transpierced by hideous animals…
