He was a man who lived a life far from God…. living a life of sin. Even when he 1st found God, his faith was riddled with errors. His conversion from sin and his conversion from error were by God’s infinite grace.

The tools of that grace were four other Saints – the biography of St Anthony of the Desert written by Saint Athanasius, the preaching of Saint Ambrose, and the tears and prayers of his mother, Saint Monica.
