Father Broom speaks on the great St. Joseph. He is the Foster Father of the Son of God. He is the spouse of the Immaculate Conception. He is the Patron of the Universal Church. We venerate him as first among Saints after Mary.

His fans among the saints include St. Teresa of Avila, St. Bernardine of Siena, and St. Andre Bessett. St.Teresa said that he was the quickest and surest of all the Saints to reply to her petitions. St. Bernardine said he was the patron all causes.

When we honor him and draw close to him, we are very pleasing to Mary and to Jesus. Holy Family of Nazareth, Pray for us!!

Father Broom in his Friday evening Perseverance talk paints a portrait of our new Holy Father – Pope Francis. He gives us his family origins, his educational background and his life a a Jesuit before he became a Bishop at age 55.

He is an active preacher of the truths of Catholicism and has vigorously defended the unborn and the sanctity of marriage. His 1st actions as Pope showed him to be a man of deep prayer, profound humility, and an abiding love for the poor and abandoned.
