Father Broom speaks to the Confirmation boys about the power of Mary. These are mostly 8th grade boys who have the privilege of being taught by a priest. Father speaks to several different groups of boys each week. As we listen to Father’s talk, let’s pray that each of these boys would be open to the possibility that God might be calling them to the holy priesthood.

WHAT IS MY DAMASCUS EXPERIENCE

What is the event that has most led to my conversion?

Father Broom reflects on that question. For St. Paul it was the Damascus experience. For St. Ignatius of Loyola it was serious injuries at the battle of Pamplona. For St. Augustine it was the garden experience of hearing the Letter to the Romans 13:13. What events has God used to convert me?
