Saint Jerome Emiliani – Soldier, Sinner, Full of Vanity and Pride – His military defeat brought him the victory of conversion. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, he was converted, fell in love with Jesus Christ and became a servant of orphans and the poor.
