Una de las imágenes que recurre con frecuencia en la literatura, la poesía y en la Biblia es la imagen de la LUZ. Consideramos que la Vigilia Pascual que comienza con la puesta del sol, es la celebración litúrgica más importante y bella que la Iglesia celebra. La primera parte es la liturgia de la Luz, y en ella la iglesia con la maxima solemnidad permanence en absolute silencio; la Iglesia duerme en una oscuridad profunda mientras el mundo espera ansiosamente el acontesimiento más significativo de la historia; la resurrección de Jesucristo, nuestro Salvador y Redentor.
