CUARTO DÍA: Génesis 6, 7 y 8 – Noé y el diluvio – El efecto cósmico del pecado.
GRACIAS A PEDIR: ¡Pidamos la gracia de ver el pecado bajo la óptica de Dios! ¡Cuánto debo aborrecer el pecado, pues tanta ojeriza y aborrecimiento le tiene Dios!
1.El Papa san Juan Pablo II en su documento Reconciliación y Penitencia, habla de los varios efectos del pecado: teologal, personal, social, eclesial y cósmico.
2. El pecado no se lleva acabo en un vacío. “Ningún hombre es una isla, completo en sí mismo.” (John Donne) ¡El pecado tiene repercusiones universales!
3. ¡OLVIDO DE DIOS! Los tiempos de Noé eran tiempos malos. El mal proliferaba por la razón que el pueblo se había olvidado de Dios o más bien, habían erradicado a Dios de sus vidas.
4. EN TIEMPOS DE NOÉ. En esos tiempos, ellos comían y bebían, maldecían, se entregaban a la sensualidad – a sus bajos instintos y naturaleza carnal. ¡Sus placeres se convirtieron en sus dioses!
5. HOY EN DÍA. ¿Qué tan parecidos son los tiempos de Noé a nuestros tiempos? ¿Cuántos dan rienda suelta a sus pasiones sensuales y sexuales, a las borracheras y al uso de narcóticos? ¡Estas cosas dominan el mundo moderno! ¿Son nuestros tiempos realmente muy diferentes a los tiempos de Noé?
6. NOÉ: EL HOMBRE FIEL. Sin embargo, había un hombre que amaba a Dios y le era fiel. ¡Ese hombre se llamaba Noé y Dios quiso salvarlo a él y a su familia! Fue por medio de una barca que Dios lo salvaría.
7. CONSTRUCCIÓN Y BURLA. La gente se reía y se burlaba de Noé al ver que construía un arca que le protegería de la tormenta que estaba por desatarse en contra de la humanidad. La gente lo ridiculizaba y se burlaba de él por su insensatez, ¡pues no había ni una nube en el cielo!
8. ANIMALES Y AVES. Dios le dijo a Noé que hiciera en el arca una pareja (macho y hembra) de cada especie animal. Noé en completa obediencia, hace tal cual Dios le pide mientras los espectadores se burlan aún más.
9. ¡EL DILUVIO! Las burlas y mofas paran abruptamente el día que Dios abre los cielos y deja caer el diluvio sobre la tierra. Esta lluvia torrencial cae sobre la tierra por 40 días y 40 noches y destruye todo lo que tiene aliento de vida debajo del cielo menos a quienes se refugiaban dentro del arca.
10. EL ARCA Y LA IGLESIA. En estos tiempos, en donde a Dios se le ha puesto a un lado y se le ha olvidado y el pecado crece vertiginosamente a nivel mundial, debemos encontrar refugio. Igual que Noé, encontraremos un lugar seguro en el arca -– el Arca de la Iglesia. ¡Encontraremos refugio en la oración!
11. DOS REFUGIOS SEGUROS. Los dos refugios más seguros son: el Inmaculado Corazón de María y el Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. Oremos confiadamente: “Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, en vos confío; Inmaculado Corazón de María, sé la salvación del alma mía.”
