LA SANTA INDIFERENCIA | EJERCICIOS ESPIRITUALES ONLINE | 2 DE ABRIL DEL 2020

GRACIAS A PEDIR:

LEA nuevamente Principio y Fundamento en espíritu de oración.  Hágalo todos los días de esta semana, antes de leer el pasaje bíblico. Asimílelo en lo hondo de su corazón y deje que empape su alma como rocío de la mañana que desciende y empapa la tierra.

SEXTO DÍA: Job 1: 1-21 –  “El Señor me lo dio, el Señor me lo quitó.  Bendito sea el nombre del Señor.”

  1. SANTA INDIFERENCIA. San Ignacio nos reta a rogar por un desprendimiento total. Dicho de otra forma, ¡el desprendimiento es la verdadera libertad de los hijos e hijas de Dios! La última parte de Principio y Fundamento se ha denominado clásicamente como la «santa indiferencia» de san Ignacio.  «Indiferencia» no en el sentido de apatía, pereza o dejadez o «a quién le importa», «me importa poco», «¿y qué…?».  Por el contrario, «santa indiferencia» realmente significa una apertura total a la voluntad de Dios.
  1. INDIFERENCIA: LAS CUATRO CATEGORIAS. Con respecto a santa indiferencia, san Ignacio la divide en cuatro categorías distintas.  San Ignacio dice que no debemos preferir una vida larga a una vida corta, salud que enfermedad, riqueza que pobreza, honor que deshonor.  Por lo tanto deberíamos elegir lo que sea más propicio para el fin para el cual fuimos creados: dar honor y gloria a Dios y así llegar a la Santidad de vida, que es otra manera de decir para la “salvación de nuestras almas.”
  1. ¡EL LIBRO DE JOB ES UN BUEN EJEMPLO DE LA SANTA INDIFERENICA!
  1. Job tenía todo, pero Dios lo puso a prueba. ¿Cómo afronto las pruebas que Dios manda? ¿Me hacen una persona mejor o me dejan solo un amargo rencor?  ¿Confío realmente en Dios?  ¿Qué tanto?
  1. ¡JOB PERDIÓ TODO! Job perdió su casa, sus animales, sus hijos, su riqueza, su salud, perdió casi todo. Incluso sus amigos cuestionaban la integridad de su vida.  Para colmo, su esposa también le exhortaba a que perdiera la esperanza y la fe.
  1. ¡LA RESPUESTA DE JOB A TODO ESTO! “Desnudo salí del vientre de mi madre, desnudo volveré a la tierra. El Señor da Señor quita; ¡bendito sea el nombre del Señor!’ Si aceptamos las cosas buenas del Señor, ¿no deberíamos también aceptar las malas?
  1. Respecto a la Santa Indiferencia san Juan de la Cruz pone el ejemplo del pájaro que atado de una pata no puede volar; lo mismo le da al pájaro estar sujeto por un hilo que por una cadena. Así es en nuestra vida.  No seremos capaces de volar alto, como el águila en la vida espiritual si tenemos algún apego a una persona, lugar u objeto.
  1. ¡LA VIDA! ¿Reconozco que Dios me ha dado la vida y que tiene el derecho de quitármela cuando Él desee y en la manera que Él lo desee?
  1. ¡LA SALUD! ¿Cuido de mi salud? ¿Cuándo la enfermedad me llega de una u otra forma, pongo mi confianza en Dios, quien es mi salud y mi fuerza?  “Nuestro auxilio está en el Nombre del Señor que hizo los cielos y la tierra.” Salmo 121:2
  1. ¡POSESIONES! ¿Estoy muy apegado a mis bienes? ¿Permito que mis bienes terrenales se apoderen de mi corazón y me separen de Dios quien es mi Principio y Fundamento y la fuente principal y propósito de mi vida? Cuando pierdo un bien material, ¿qué tanto me enojo? ¿Me quita el gozo? ¿La paz?  ¿Es Dios la fuente de mi gozo y paz?
  1. ¡HONORES! Al sentirme humillado(a), acepto las humillaciones como parte del designio providencial de Dios en mi formación tal como el Alfarero da forma a la vasija? ¿No es esa la razón por la que sucede todo en mi vida.
  2. Hable con la Virgen María y luego con Jesús y después con Dios Padre sobre todo lo que alberga su corazón. Pida la gracia de ser fiel a estos Ejercicios Espirituales,  ¡sin lugar a dudas transformará su vida!
