LA TORRE DE BABEL | EJERCICIOS ESPIRITUALES POR INTERNET | 22 ABRIL 2020

QUINTO DÍA: Génesis 11 – La Torre de Babel – El pecado de soberbia, la raíz de todo pecado.

 GRACIAS A PEDIR:  ¡Pidamos la gracia de ver el pecado bajo la óptica de Dios!  ¡Cuánto debo aborrecer el pecado, pues tanta ojeriza y aborrecimiento le tiene Dios! 

1. Después del pecado de los ángeles y el pecado de nuestros primeros padres Adán y Eva (el Pecado Original), el pecado continúa en el Libro del Génesis.

2.BABEL  La soberbia es el origen del pecado de la Torre de Babel.

3. SOBERBIA. La soberbia es uno de los siete pecados capitales y es la raíz de todos los pecados.  San Gregorio, lo considera el rey de todos los vicios.

4. SOBERBIA.  En la estructura mental de la soberbia, pensándose autosuficiente y por amor a su propia valía, el hombre busca independizarse y aspira a alejarse de la sujeción de Dios.  El hombre pone su propio ego y su propia auto-exaltación por encima de la soberanía y derecho que Dios tiene sobre él.  

5. BABEL. En su soberbia y sin tomar en cuenta a Dios, el hombre edifica una torre esperando que su cúspide llegue hasta el cielo.

6. ¡CASTIGO DE DIOS!   Pero debido a este acto de soberbia Dios les castiga  descendiendo sobre ellos y confundiendo sus lenguas.

7. MALENTENDIDOS Y CONFUSIÓN.  Todo comenzó con la Torre de Babel… ¡no solo la confusión de lenguas sino también los malentendidos y las demás confusiones!  

8. ¡PENTECOSTÉS! Con la venida del Espíritu Santo en Pentecostés (Hechos 2) se corrigió la confusión de las lenguas.  Sólo el Espíritu Santo nos puede comunicar el don del entendimiento…. para verdaderamente entender a Dios, comprender Su Palabra y comprender a nuestro prójimo con un corazón amoroso. 

9. MI PROPIA TORRE DE BABEL. ¿Cuántas veces he construido mi propia “Torre de Babel” debido a mi soberbia? Y a raíz de esto ¿cuánta confusión ha entrado a mi vida después?  

10. COLOQUIO.  Entre en conversación con Dios y pídale la gracia de poder ver el pecado desde la óptica de Dios – ¡a través de la perspectiva divina para poder rechazar el pecado y decir ‘sí’ al inmenso amor de Dios!
