JESUS ES CORONADO DE ESPINAS | EJERCICIOS ESPIRITUALES | ABRIL 8, 2020

GRACIAS A PEDIR: 

1) Sentir compasión por Cristo… dolor con Cristo doloroso, quebranto con Cristo quebrantado, 2) Consolar a Cristo, 3) Lágrimas, pena interna de tanta pena que Cristo pasó por mi.  (#203 de los Ejercicios Espirituales)

QUINTO DÍA: JESÚS ES CORONADO DE ESPINAS… Jn 19, 1-8.

  1. GRACIAS A PEDIR:  De nuevo, pida la gracia sufrir con Jesús sufriente – Jesús es Nuestro Salvador y Redentor.  Jesús sufrió dolores indecibles de cuerpo y alma, sufrimientos que jamás podremos imaginar.  Jesús sufrió en pago por la deuda de los pecados de la humanidad, por cada uno de nuestros pecados personales y para abrirnos las puertas del cielo.  Entremos a esta contemplación – El Tercer Misterio Doloroso del Santo Rosario – y pidamos la gracia de sentir compasión por Cristo, dolor con Cristo doloroso y quebranto con Cristo quebrantado.
  2. LA IMAGINACIÓN CREATIVA.  Con los ojos de la imaginación, vea la siguiente escena.  Vuelva a lo que acaba de pasar:  En el huerto de los Olivos, Jesús ha pasado horas en agonía y ha sudado sangre, ha sido atado a una columna y brutalmente flagelado y ultrajado, y tras la cruel tortura, su Cuerpo ha quedado una llaga abierta, sus huesos han quedado al descubierto y su sangre diluvia formado un lago alrededor de la columna.  Los ejecutores han desquitado su furia golpeándolo despiadadamente.  Cualquier otro hombre que hubiese recibido estas crueles torturas, hubiera muerto de dolor y la pérdida de sangre.  Jesús ahora camina fatigosamente y encorvado con las vestiduras adheridas a las hagas de su piel.  Su cuerpo está destrozado, sus huesos han quedado al descubierto, su rostro santísimo está irreconocible.  ¡Jesús acoge todo este sufrimiento voluntariamente y sufre inocentemente por amor a mi y amor a ti!
  3. LA NOCHE ANTES DE SU CRUCIFIXIÓN.  Los enemigos de Jesús a empujones lo llevan a un calabozo pequeño. Con los ojos de la imaginación, vea el calabozo, hágase presente… está oscuro y es de noche, huele a moho y humedad, ¡hay un olor rancio y desagradable que impregna todo!  Pero Jesús no está solo… hubiese sido mejor que estuviera solo, porque quienes lo acompañan éste Jueves Santo son los torturadores, son monstruos con forma humana.  Ellos con groserias punzantes se burlan de Él y lo maldicen.  El pecado es así, causa indescriptible dolor, en cambio el amor nunca hiere o daña. 
  4. ATADO OTRA VEZ.  Hemos visto que Jesús es atado a una columna y terriblemente azotado.  Por segunda vez, los verdugos lo atan y lo inmovilizan.   Han vuelto a atar a quien vino a liberar a los cautivos y alcanzarnos la verdadera libertad del espíritu.  Lo atan como si fuese el peor de los verdugos, y Jesús lo permite.   Jesús ofrece su libertad en reparación por las veces que hemos abusado de nuestra libertad.  En Principio y Fundamento aprendimos que somos llamados a hacer “uso” de la creación para dar gloria a Dios y para la salvación de nuestra alma.  El pecado es “ABUSAR” de nuestra libertad.  Jesús dice que el pecado es ESCLAVITUD.  Jesús vino para liberar a los cautivos.  PREGUNTA:  ¿Es usted esclavo de alguna pasión, deseo, intención o pecado?  ¡Este es el momento de postrarse a los pies de Jesús nuestro Salvador e implorar que nos conceda la libertad que nuestro corazón tanto anhela!
  5. ¡BURLAS!  Los crueles e inhumanos torturadores siguen con sus intrigas satánicas.  Santa Teresa de Ávila dice: “No nos debe sorprender lo que hacen quienes no viven en estado de gracia sino que nos debería sorprender lo que no hacen”.  Es decir, la crueldad de los que viven fuera de la gracia de Dios no tiene límites.  Los verdugos abofetean despiadadamente la dulcísima faz de Nuestro Señor hasta disfigurarla.  El Santo Sudario (La Sábana Santa de Turín) aparte de mostrar la espalda y el Cuerpo llagado y deshecho, muestra la nariz de Jesús desfigurada por la fuerza de los golpes.  El profeta Isaías profetizó sobre el siervo sufriente diciendo: “Le arrancaron la barba, se burlaron de Él.”  Y en todo esto, Jesús no abrió la boca.  Se predijo: “Fue maltratado y él se humilló y no dijo nada, fue llevado cual cordero al matadero, como una oveja que permanece muda cuando la esquilan.”  Llevan a Jesús al matadero por amor a mi y amor a ti – ¡por la salvación eterna de nuestras almas
  6. ¡SIGUEN LAS BURLAS Y LAS MOFAS!  No les fue suficiente estas humillaciones.  Agregan humillación sobre humillación y esta vez con un gesto más bajo – llenan su Rostro Sagrado con escupitajos… no una vez, ¡sino repetidas veces!  Al hacer esta contemplación deje que su corazón se rebose de compasión.  Abra su corazón a Jesús y hable con Él… comparta con Él todo lo que guarda en su corazón… dígale cómo se siente… cuéntele todo lo que calla su corazón.  Medite las palabras de san Ignació:  “¿Qué he hecho por Jesús?”  “¿Qué voy a hacer por Jesús?”  “¿Qué he decidido hacer por Jesús de hoy en adelante y todos los días de mi vida?”   Si tanto me amó Jesús que aceptó padecer este sufrimiento por mi, ¿qué no debería yo hacer por Él?
  7. OTRA INFAMIA – OBRAS DEL MAL – ¡EL PECADO!  En el Evangelio de San Juan, Jesús se da a sí mismo el título de «Luz».  Jesús dice:  “Yo soy la luz del mundo; el que me sigue, no andará en tinieblas, sino que tendrá la luz de la vida.”  Y otra parte el Evangelio narra: “En cuánto tomó Judas el bocado, salió” – Judas deja a Jesús – “y era de noche.”   Dejar a Jesús es dejar la luz y entrar en las tinieblas.  
  8. A JESÚS LE VENDARON DE LOS OJOS… ¡y Jesús lo permite!  Medite lo que fue éste gesto tan cruel.  Sus enemigos se acercan a Él y le bendan los ojos con tanta fuerza y brutalidad que Sus divinos ojos están ahora en la oscuridad.  Jesús quien es LA LUZ DEL MUNDO, ahora está en una profunda oscuridad.  En el Evangelio vemos que Jesús da sanidad a los ojos sin vista de Bartimeo, el ciego que vivía de la caridad de la gente.  El Evangelio nos narra que en una ocasión al enterarse Bartimeo que Jesús de Nazaret pasaba por ahí, se puso a gritar y pidió a Jesús que tuviera compasión de él.  En esta reflexión, vemos a Jesús bendado de sus ojos.  ¿Por qué aceptó Jesús este sufrimiento con tanto amor?  ¡Por los pecados de los ojos!  ¿Cuántas veces hemos pecado con los ojos? – viendo la televisión, el internet, películas con malas imágenes, malas revistas, modas inmodestas o cuantas veces hemos dejado que nuestros ojos se recreen con cosas indecentes. Jesús ahora acepta ser BENDADO para reparar por MIS pecados de los ojos.  ¡Señor, te ruego, dirige mis ojos para que sólo contemplen lo que es noble, puro y hermoso!  “Bienaventurados los puros de corazón porque verán a Dios.” (Mt, 5,8)
  9. JESÚS ES TRATADO CUAL REY DE BURLA.  ¡Ha llegado a los excesos más profundos de las humillaciones y de los dolores!  Uno de los verdugos, volviéndose todavía más feroz dice:  “Si Él es Rey, debería tener una corona.  Démosle una corona.”  Cerca del lugar dónde Jesús está atado, hay unos grandes rosales…  reflexione por un momento las características de un rosal.  Vea LAS ESPINAS.   Las espinas pueden ser incipientes, tiernas, pequeñas o verdes.  Otras pueden ser medianas pero puntiagudas y punzantes.  Mientras otras más maduras son cafés, sumamente largas y sumamente puntiagudas y con el simple tocarlas, sangra el dedo.  Ahora regresemos para contemplar a Jesús…  Con un acto más de crueldad, los verdugos cortan varias ramas de espinas y las tejen en forma circular, la cargan con cuidado para no pincharse y con crueldad las colocan sobre la Santísima Cabeza de Jesús.  
  10. CEREMONIA DE CORONACIÓN SIMULADA.  Con los ojos de la imaginación vea la coronación y escuche lo que dicen los verdugos.  Se ríen y se burlan de Jesús: “Si Él es Rey, necesita una corona.  ¡Eh aquí el Rey de los gusanos!” (De la película de Mel Gibson) – Oh Jesús mio, cuán doloroso es contemplarte en este momento de tu pasión, pero mi corazón te abraza. –  Sus enemigos le empujan brutalmente la corona sobre su Santísima Cabeza.  Vea como las espinas penetran profundamente el cráneo, vea cómo se diluvia la sangre de su Santa Faz como un rio rebosante y su Preciosa Sangre cae en tierra.   Escuche los insultos y las burlas de estos demonios con forma de humanos:  “¡Salve, Rey de los judíos! ¡Salve Rey de los judíos!”  Y en todo esto, Jesús calla – ¡No pronuncia una sola palabra!  Es infernal – estos hombres disfrutan al ver que un inocente sufre.  Pero éste crimen el más nefasto, porque Jesús es Dios!
  11. ¡CRUELDAD EXTREMA!  Los verdugos no han terminado de divertirse de la forma más cruel y sádica.  Dicen: “¡Puesto que es Rey, y tiene una corona  ahora necesita un cetro!”  Buscan una caña (en realidad es una vara)… pero no se conforman en dársela, sino que para continuar con su crueldad, primero golpean su Sacratísima Cabeza, y ¡oh! como sufre Jesús.  Después de golpearlo repetidas veces, intentan colocar la caña en una de sus manos, ¡y todo esto lo hacen burlándose y llamándole Rey!  Esta mofa, simulando su coronación no cesa conforme avanzan las horas de la noche.  Siguen desplomando sobre Su Divina Persona insulto tras insulto, le golpean brutalmente Su Santa Faz y la llenan de escupitajos.  ¡La crueldad y barbaridad de los verdugos no tiene límites!  Pero usted, es valiente…  baje a donde está su amado Jesús… baje al calabozo húmedo, sucio y asfixiante.  ¡Acampánelo esta noche!  ¡Acérquece a Él!  Escuche su respirar.  Hable con Él con el corazón.  Dígale cuánto lo ama.  Pídale perdón por todas sus faltas.  ¡Con toda sinceridad, dígale cuánto desea serle siempre fiel!  ¡Consuélelo, como su corazón le dicte!
