decir a los demás lo que
deseamos que nos digan a nosotros!

Quinto, a veces no es claro
si lo que estamos diciendo es heriente o beneficioso a los demás. Lo que podría ser de gran ayuda en este asunto
es imaginar que durante tu conversación,
tu selección de palabras, el tono de voz e incluso la expresión de tu cara—
que están tres personas muy importantes allí presentes durante la conversación.
Estas tres personas son Jesús, María y San José. Hazte esta pregunta: «¿Si
Jesús, María y San José estuvieran presentes durante la conversación escuchando
mis palabras, tendrían una sonrisa de aprobación?» Esta es la guía para
los discípulos de Jesús! ¿Son nuestras palabras agradables a la vista de Dios, Su
Santa Madre y Buen San José — quien incluso, nunca hablo ni una palabra en
todas las escrituras sagradas?
Conclusión.
Jesús dijo que desde la abundancia del corazón habla la boca. También Jesús nos
advirtió que seremos juzgados por cada palabra que sale de la boca. Santiago
nos advierte que seamos lentos a hablar y rápido para escuchar.

Diario de San Faustina ella admitió que sus tres faltas primarias eran: 1)
Orgullo de no ser más transparente con su Superiora Irene; 2) ¡HABLAR DEMASIADO!!! Ella francamente admitió que Jesús le reveló
que a veces Él prefiere que guardemos silencio en vez de hablar por dos
motivos: a) la persona no gana nada con sus palabras; y b) sería mucho más
beneficioso para las almas del Purgatorio sus oraciones (en esos momentos) en
lugar de su conversación. Finalmente 3) ella no observó fielmente la Regla.
Recordemos
la difícil exhortación del Doctor Franciscano de la Iglesia, San Buenaventura:
«Tenemos que abrir nuestras bocas en tres ocasiones: para alabar a Dios,
para acusarnos a nosotros mismos, y para edificar nuestro prójimo.» Siendo fiel a esta exhortación, vamos a evitar
muchos pecados de la lengua, ungir nuestras palabras con el Espíritu y acumular
para nosotros una herencia eterna en el cielo!

nuestras palabras y verdaderamente a edificar a nuestro prójimo!
