CUARTO DÍA: LA FLAGELACIÓN DE JESÚS, ATADO A LA COLUMNA… Mc. 15, 6-15
- GRACIA. ‟No hay amor más grande que dar la vida por sus amigos.” En verdad, ¡La medida del amor está en la voluntad del sacrificio! Esto fue lo que Jesús hizo por ti y por mí. Pida la graica de sufrir con Jesús en su agonía mortal y en sus sufrimeintos. Jesús busca amigos, ¡pero amigos verdaderos!
- JESÚS ES DESPOJADO DE SUS VESTIDURAS. ¡Qué humillación sufre Jesús! Jesús permite este ultraje para reparar por quienes en su forma de vestir se despojan de todo pudor, candor, decencia e inocencia, que se desnudan de todo bien y virtud. En 1917, Nuestra Señora de Fátima dijo que muchas modas se introducirían que ofenderían gravemente a Nuestro Señor.» Han pasado casi 100 años desde la aparición en Fátima y los tiempos han empeorado. Oh Jesús mío, sufriste esta pena para reparar por la inmodestia. Sigamos con atención a nuestro afligido Jesús, renovando nuestro propósito de vestir con pudor y modestia tanto nosotros como los miembros de nuestra familia. El Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica afirma, que el pudor es el guardián de la castidad ¡y la inmodestia le abre las compuertas a las pasiones indomables, la lujuria y al libertinaje sexual!
3. JESÚS ES ATADO A UNA COLUMNA. ¿Por qué sufrió Jesús ésta humillación? ¡Qué osadía tan grande de quienes le atan con cuerdas y amarran sus brazos! Jesús vino para liberar a los cautivos, romper las ataduras del pecado, enseñarnos la verdadera libertad de los hijos e hijas de Dios, pero es atado a una columna con tanta fuerza y ahora se le impide el movimiento como si fuera un verdugo. Entremos a nuestro corazón y nuestra conciencia a la luz de su pasión y veamos que cadenas, ataduras o lazos impiden que sigamos con afán y valentía a Jesús…
4. LA FLAGELACIÓN (I). Son dos los verdugos que van a llevar a cabo esta diabólica acción de flagelar a un inocente. El primer instrumento que usan es una vara. Con los ojos de la imaginación, vea lo que sucede. Alzan la vara y comienzan a golpear la espalda desnuda de Jesús. Se turnan, uno y luego el otro, y lo azotan con todas sus fuerzas para causarle mayor sufrimiento. Vuelven a alzar la vara, y con brutal fuerza golpean una y otra vez el Sacratísimo Cuerpo de Nuestro Señor y Salvador. Jesús se somete a la voluntad de Su Padre Celestial y con voz baja y sonora dice – «Padre mío, si es posible, que pase de mí esta copa, pero no sea como yo quiero, sino como quieras tú.» La multitud, sedienta de sangre, alenta el ataque brutal de los verdugos enfurecidos. Hágase presente y contemple esta dolorocisima escena.
5. LA FLAGELACION (II). La segunda pareja de verdugos empieza a azotar a Jesús con redoblada violencia. El otro instrumento utilizado para la flagelación, fue el flagrum taxillatum romano, un instrumento de tortura sin parangón y el más humillante, ¡el horror más terrible de Roma! Este instrumento de tortura usado por los romanos en las flagelaciones consistía en un largo látigo con tiras de cuero en cuyo extremos amarraban bolas de plomo o unos huesecillos que arrancaban la piel a cada golpe. La finalidad de este instrumento de tortura era desgajar la carne del ejecutado y abrir hondas heridas en carne viva en el cuerpo, abriendo así grandes suros y convirtiéndolo totalmente en una llaga. Ambos verdugos tienen en su mano uno, y con una tempestad de golpes sueltan su furia infernal sobre el adorable Cuerpo de Nuestro Señor. Trate de contemplar esta dolorocisima escena. Contemple a Santa Faz de Jesús y la luz que irradia de sus ojos mientras soporta este ineffable tormento. Vea cómo de nuevo los verdugos toman las cuerdas y comienzan a azotar sin piedad el Cuerpo de Jesús, abriendo surcos y convirtiéndolo totalmente en una llaga. La tempestad de golpes se desata con tanta crueldad y furor con que sale sangre a torrentes del Santísimo cuerpo y siguen rebosando los surcos de sangre. Perciba y contemple la huesos que quedan al descubierto y la sangre que diluvia y forma un lago alrededor de la columna. Siguen los azotes y los verdugos desquitan toda su furia infernal sobre Jesús. Pero aún más doloroso es el placer bestial con que se deleitan al ver que un Inocente sufre tormentos indescriptibles. Fue en el mismo infierno que se elaboró y desencadeno tanta furia. En todo este flagelo, Jesús se somete humildemente a la voluntad de su Padre Celestial.
6. ¡BASTA! Llega el capitán de la guardia en plena tempestad de azotes y grita ¡BASTA! – no lo maten. Las palabras del profeta: “Angustiado él, y afligido, no abrió su boca; como cordero fue llevado al matadero; y como oveja delante de sus trasquiladores, enmudeció, y no abrió su boca…. Mas él herido fue por nuestras rebeliones, molido por nuestros pecados; el castigo de nuestra paz fue sobre él, y por su llaga fuimos nosotros curados. (Isaías 53, 5, 7) ¡Qué penas tan desgarradoras e indescriptibles, cuantas muertes tan crueles sufres mi Jesús!
Sus enemigos ahora libran sus manos y su Sacratísimo Cuerpo se encuentra de tal forma lacerado que no queda en Él parte sana. ¡Cualquier otro hombre que hubiera pasado por esto hubiera expirado! Oración: Jesús mio, sufriste todo esto por amor a mi. ¡Tu cuerpo ha quedado inmovil en la tierra y en un lago de sangre!
7. NUESTRA SEÑORA Y MARÍA MAGDALENA. La película de Mel Gibson nos muestra a su Madre y a María Magdalena que presencian cada latigazo y cada tortura. Su amadísimo Jesús que un día acuno en sus brazos ahora esta inconocible, ¡tan desfigurado que ya no tiene aspect de hombre! ¡Ellas observen sus llagas: ya no se le reconoce! Fue de María que Jesús tomo su cuerpo, su naturaleza humana y su Sangre Preciosa. Deje que su corazón se conmueva, que se mueva de compasión por María en su dolor.
En éste momento vemos entrar a Claudia, la esposa de Poncio Pilato, ella le ofrece a María lienzos para secar las lagundas de la Sangre Preciosa de su Hijo. María recibe de ella esta ofrenda y le da uno a María Magdalena, ellas se ponen de rodillas y con lienzo en mano empiezan a secar la Sangre Preciosa. Ayude a María y María Magdalena a limpiar la Sangre de Jesús. ¡Honor y gloria a la Preciosa Sangre de Jesús! San Pedro dice: ‟habéis sido rescatados de la conducta necia heredada de vuestros padres, no con algo caduco, oro o plata, sino con una sangre preciosa, como de cordero sin tacha y sin mancilla, Cristo. (1 Pedro 1, 18)
8. ¿POR QUÉ ESTE SUFRIMIENTO? Jesús sufrió su dolorosa y sagrada Pasión en reparación por los pecados del mundo – POR LOS PECADOS CONTRA LA VIRTUD DE LA PUREZA. San Juan Pablo II y otros santos dicen que Jesús padeció los azotes por los pecados contra la importante virtud de la pureza. Jesús despedazado, mientras sufría, reparaba por los pecados contra de inmodestia, de impureza de la mente, miradas, palabras, afectos, impureza solitaria, deseos impuros, imagines impuras, fornicación, adulterio, actos homosexuales, incesto, prostitución y la pornografía. El desenfreno sexual de la vista (la pornografía) y los otros pecados de impureza es el motivo por el cual Jesús fue despojado de sus vestiduras y flagelado cruelmente. ¡Nuestros pecados son la causa de su sufrir! Al contemplar esto, debemos ir más allá de los Mandamientos de nuestra fe católica y debemos reconocer que el pecado es ‟herir a quien amamos” – palabras de Fulton Sheen.
9. LA PROMESA Y EL PROPÓSITO DE VIVIR LA PUREZA. Después de contemplar la flagelación de Nuestro Señor, pidamos a María que nos alcance de Jesús el siguiente fruto: Vivir la virtud de la pureza. ¡Pondrá en práctica los siguientes cinco pasos para vivir una vida pura!
- ORACIÓN. Implore a Dios que le conceda a usted y toda su familia la gracia de la PUREZA.
- MORTIFICACIÓN. Practique alguna forma de penitencia y mortifique sus sentidos para alcanzar el auto-dominio.
- CONFESIÓN. El sacramento de la Confesión nos ayudará a sanar las heridas del pasado y es medicina ‟preventiva” contra el pecado.
- LA SANTA COMUNIÓN. Comulgue con frecuencia… reciba el Cuerpo, Sangre, Alma y Divinidad de Jesús. Esta es una poderosa arma para vivir la pureza.
- EL INMACULADO CORAZÓN DE MARÍA. Conságrarse al Purísimo e Inmaculado Corazón de María… este es el medio más eficaz para vivir una vida pura y alcanzar la salvación enterna de su alma. Acepte y ofrezca sus sufrimientos y cruces de cada día por usted y sus seres queridos e incluso por los que no conocen a Cristo. A esto se le llama «sufrimiento redentor» o «acción redentora del sufrimiento«.
- EL SUFRIMIENTO QUE REDIME. ¿Qué podemos aprender de este Misterio Doloroso de la flagelación? El valor de redención del sufrimiento Cristiano. Es un hecho, nadie pasa por la vida sin sufrir, pero tristemente muchos no saben qué hacer con él, y por no conocen su sentido salvífico, pierden el mérito del sufrimiento. La visión Cristiana de la Cruz no subraya el valor del sufrimiento en si mismo, como si se tratara de una forma de masoquismo, al contrario, realza el espíritu con que se afronta el sufrimiento cuando lo UNIMOS AL SUFRIMIENTO DE CRISTO. El sufrimiento, una de dos, nos hará una persona mejor o nos dejará un amargo dolor. Si sufrimos con Jesús, si unimos nuestra cruz a la de Él, si lo ofrecemos en el altar en la Santa Misa, entonces el sufrimiento unido con el Cristo sufriente tiene un valor salvífico infinito. Conscientes de la fuerza salvífica del sufrimiento, saquemos frutos abundantes de estas contemplaciones de la Pasión de Jesucristo Nuestro Señor y Salvador. Unamos y ofrezcamos nuestras penas y sufrimientos con el sufrimiento de Jesús. Porque si lo hacemos, nuestro sufrimiento servirá para reparar por nuestros pecados, para purificar nuestra alma y será un poderoso medio santificador.
