LOS CINCO NO NEGOCIABLES, VOTAR CON CONCIENCIA INFORMADA


Puesto que el día decisivo de las elecciones presidenciales se aproxima la primera semana de noviembre, debemos tener convicciones católico-cristianas muy claras y bien definidas al votar.

Como sacerdote, mi deber no es endosar ningún partido político, no es mi competencia. Sin embargo como sacerdote, es mi deber hablar sobre la moralidad de la política y qué debería motivar nuestra postura respecto a un candidato político.

Por lo tanto, en este corto articulo, me gustaría destacar cinco criterios fundamentales que sirven de guía para orientarnos a la hora de emitir nuestro voto y ejercer nuestro deber y responsabilidad cívica. Los cinco criterios básicos son los cinco no-negociables para el voto católico-cristiano

La expresión «Cinco No Negociables para el Voto Católico-Cristiano» significa lo siguiente: algunas decisiones y acciones son intrínsecamente malas, es decir, su esencia misma está mal, es inmoral, pecaminosa y desagradable a Dios, Autor de la vida y quien determina todo lo que es bueno.

Dicho esto, procuren conocer bien estas cuestiones importantes. Pueden consultar la página web pro-vida como referencia: «Priestsforlife.org», cuyo presidente es el Padre Frank Pavone. Este excelente sitio web servirá para ayudarles a emitir su voto según los criterios católico-cristianos.

Presentamos de manera clara, convincente y precisa estos ‘Cinco No Negociables’

LOS CINCO NO NEGOCIABLES PARA EL VOTO CATÓLICO CRISTIANO.

  1. ABORTO. El tema moral clave del aborto es, sin duda alguna, el más importante en la elección de los funcionarios electos. Cada ser humano ha sido creado a imagen y semejanza de Dios y tiene derechos inalienables: el derecho a la vida, a la libertad y a la búsqueda de la felicidad. La vida humana proviene de Dios, el origen, autor y sustentador de toda la vida. La vida humana comienza desde el momento de la concepción. Esa vida tiene un valor que sobrepasa el valor de todo el universo creado, dice Santo Tomás de Aquino. Antes de votar, vea cuál es la postura de cada candidato sobre este tema del aborto. Ninguno de nosotros debería ser cómplice en la promoción del aborto votando y apoyando a los funcionarios que promueven el asesinato, peor aún, el asesinato de los más vulnerables, inocentes e indefensos de nuestra sociedad – los bebés no nacidos en el vientre materno.
  1. EUTHANASIA. Del otro lado del espectro está el de la Eutanasia. Es una filosofía motivada por un sistema materialista, hedonista, utilitario y erróneo, que postula que los ancianos o los desahuciados pueden acabar con su vida con inyecciones letales. En otras palabras, la Eutanasia promueve que los ancianos y los enfermos, con la ayuda y colaboración de sus familiares y, por supuesto, con el apoyo de la Comunidad Médica, elijan el momento de acabar con su vida. Reiteramos que debemos oponernos a cualquier sistema político y candidato que promueva el asesinato de ancianos y enfermos. ¿Por qué? Por la sencilla razón de que Dios es quien inicia la vida en el momento de la concepción en el vientre de la madre y Dios termina la vida en el momento, la forma y el modo que Él considere más bien. Según el Libro de Job: «Desnudo salí del vientre de mi madre, y desnudo vuelvo a la tierra. El Señor da y el Señor quita; bendito sea el nombre del Señor». (Job 1:21) 
  1. LA ANTICONCEPCION. En la enseñanza del Magisterio de la Iglesia, más específicamente en la Encíclica Humanae Vitae del Papa Pablo VI, enseña con la mayor claridad que cada acto conyugal entre hombre y mujer debe estar abierto a la posibilidad de la vida. Por lo tanto, cualquier uso de medios artificiales de anticoncepción es intrínsecamente desordenado – por su propia naturaleza y esencia es malo, pecaminoso y muy desagradable para Dios. De hecho, el primer mandamiento de Dios en la Biblia fue: «¡Sean fecundos y multiplíquense!» (Gen 1:28)
  1. LA PRÁCTICA DE LA HOMOSEXUALIDAD (Y EL TRANSEXUALISMO). Nunca hemos vivido en un mundo con tanta información como hoy. Pero, al mismo tiempo, nunca hemos vivido en un mundo con tanta confusión. Vivimos en un estado perpetuo de «La Torre de Babel» – la confusión al máximo ha contaminado el entorno moral global. Uno de los puntos clave de la confusión y el error es sobre la interpretación de la ser humano. Dios creó al ser humano a su imagen y semejanza. Sin embargo, se debe hacer hincapié de la manera más firme posible: Dios creó al hombre y a la mujer, al hombre y a la mujer. El primer libro de la Biblia, el libro del Génesis, lo afirma inequívocamente, y con la mayor claridad: «Dios los creó varón y hembra. Por lo tanto, un hombre dejará a su padre y a su madre y se unirá a su esposa.» (Gn.1:27; Gn.2:24) Jesús cita esto en Mt. 19:4-6: «¿No habéis leído que al principio el Creador ‘los hizo varón y hembra’, y dijo: ‘Por eso dejará el hombre a su padre y a su madre y se unirá a su mujer, y los dos se harán una sola carne’? Así que ya no son dos, sino una sola carne. Por lo tanto, lo que Dios ha unido, que no se separe el hombre». Dios creó a Adán y Eva y no a Adán y Steve. La confusión total y la desaparición de la distinción y la identidad sexual es un veneno diabólico que se está extendiendo como un incendio forestal. De hecho, la aceptación y promoción de la homosexualidad y la agenda LGBT (Abreviatura de Lesbiana, Gay, Bisexual y Transgénero) puede terminar destruyendo los cimientos de la sociedad humana, arrasando con la familia y destruyéndola. La familia tradicional es el marido y la mujer (hombre y mujer) casados en forma sacramental en la Iglesia en el amor mutuo y abierto a la procreación y la formación de los niños. 
  1. LA FECUNDACIÓN ARTIFICIAL Y LA INVESTIGACIÓN DE EMBRIONES. El último de los Cinco No Negociables es el de la Fertilización Artificial e Investigación Embrionaria. Por Fertilización Artificial se entiende que un hombre dona espermatozoides y una mujer dona múltiples óvulos (producidos a través de la estimulación hormonal artificial de sus ovarios). En el laboratorio los clínicos combinan los óvulos con los espermatozoides, logrando así múltiples embriones (nuevos seres humanos) que se nutren en el laboratorio en una placa de petri (vidrio). Algunos de estos zigotos (pequeños bebés) se trasplantan al cuerpo de la Madre (o incluso de una Madre de alquiler) con la expectativa de que al menos uno de los mismos logre sobrevivir, aunque a veces sobreviven más de un embrión. Los otros zigotos (bebés pequeños) se almacenan en un congelador ultrafrío en caso de que el intento inicial falle; algunos de estos pequeños bebés mueren en ese proceso. Al mismo tiempo, el padre y la madre pueden decidir en cualquier momento simplemente descartarlos o permitir que se utilicen para la investigación embrionaria. Una vez más esto es horrendo y otra forma de asesinato – el asesinato de los inocentes.

La investigación sobre embriones se conoce generalmente como investigación sobre células madre embrionarias. La objeción de la Iglesia se expresa en el Donum Vitae (1987) Nº 4, párrafo 29: 

«Si los embriones están vivos, ya sean viables o no, deben ser respetados como cualquier otra persona humana; la experimentación con embriones que no sea directamente terapéutica es ilícita». 

Además, de la Congregación para la Doctrina de la Fe, 1987:  «Ningún objetivo, aunque sea noble en sí mismo, como una ventaja previsible para la ciencia, para otros seres humanos o para la sociedad, puede justificar en modo alguno la experimentación con embriones o fetos humanos vivos, sean viables o no, dentro o fuera del útero materno».

En 2008, se publicó la instrucción Dignitas Personae como suplemento para abordar las cuestiones y tecnologías bioéticas más recientes. 


CONCLUSION:

Moralmente hablando, la único medio permitido para que una ser humano llegue al mundo es a través del abrazo conyugal de marido y mujer en el contexto del Sacramento del Sagrado Matrimonio. No podemos hacer de Dios determinando cómo comienza la vida, cuándo debe terminar y cómo termina. Sólo Dios tiene el derecho de traer un nuevo ser humano a la existencia, y determinar el tiempo y el lugar para que esa persona muera y enfrente el juicio del Señor Jesucristo.

Amigos en Cristo, por amor a vuestro país, por amor a Dios, por amor a vuestros hijos, por amor a vuestros adolescentes, por amor a vuestra familia, por amor a vuestra propia salvación eterna, tengan en cuenta a los CINCO NO NEGOCIABLES en la elección de los futuros líderes de nuestro país, los futuros líderes del mundo. Recuerden: «Cada individuo es creado a imagen y semejanza de Dios y tiene derechos inviolables: a la vida, a la libertad y a la búsqueda de la felicidad». ¡Que sigamos estas directrices y experimentemos la verdadera felicidad en esta vida y en el Cielo por toda la eternidad!
