Nuestra Señora de Fátima pide que se rece el Rosario por la paz del mundo. El conocido sacerdote del Rosario, el P. Patrick Peyton, acuño esta frase, »La familia que reza unida permanece unida.» ¡Cuán cierto es! ¡Familias, empecemos hoy! Fijemos la hora y el lugar, ¡y seamos fieles!
Otra frase del P. Patrick Peyton, quizás no tan conocida per igual de relevante hoy: »Un mundo en oración es un mundo en paz.» Nuestra Señora de Fátima nos insistió, que si se seguía pecando, una guerra peor se desataría. Dos décadas más tarde, las tropas de Hitler invadieron Polonia, y empezó la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
La proliferación del pecado, la violencia y el odio son claros indicios de la falta de oración. La oración comunica el »Don de dones» (el Espíritu Santo). La paz es uno de los frutos del Espíritu Santo.
San Agustín nos ofrece una excelente definición de lo que es la paz: »La paz es la tranquilidad del orden.» En los Ejercicios Espirituales, san Ignacio también nos da palabras muy parecidas: »Poner orden al desorden para buscar la voluntad de Dios.»
El venerable arzobispo Fulton J. Sheen, conocido por su profunda espiritualidad y elocuencia, nos dice cual es el origen de las guerras. Sheen dice, cuando la guerra habita en corazón de alguien debido al pecado, la guerra se filtra a la familia, de la familia a la comunidad, de la comunidad a los países, de los países a los continentes y luego, ¡una explosión! Cuando en el corazón se alberga una profunda oración, el pecado se elimina y se extiende la paz.
Después de esta breve introducción sobre la paz, veamos cómo podemos extender la paz, en nuestras familias, comunidades y en el mundo, pero primero la paz interior, la paz del alma. Cada sigla de la palabra AMOR representa una idea concreta, una práctica que podemos emprender, para poder ser verdaderos portadores de paz. Esforcemonos por hacer realidad la oración de san Francisco de Asís: »Señor, hazme un instrumento de tu paz.»
ADORACIÓN. Pase tiempo en adoración ante Jesús Sacramentado, antes o después de la Santa Misa. Alabe a Jesús, déle gracias a Jesús, pídale perdón por los muchos pecados del mundo. Pida también al Príncipe de paz, que nos alcance buena voluntad y el deseo vivir en paz. Pida a Jesús, que todos se esfuercen por vivir el último mandamiento de Jesús: “Ámense los unos a los otros, como yo los he amado” (Jn 15, 9-17). Debemos complementar nuestra vida sacramental, con una vida fuerte de oración y tiempo en adoración ante el Señor de señores y el Rey de reyes.
MISA Y EUCARISTÍA. Forme el hábito de comulgar con la mayor frecuencia posible. Pero hágalo con gran fe, gran fervor y gran amor. Al comulgar, ofrezca su comunión por la paz del mundo. Si conocieramos el poder de la Santa Misa y de una Comunión ferviente, ¡no cabrían las personas en la iglesia todos los días!
EMANUEL. Esta palabra hebrea, dicha por el profeta Isaías, se repite en la antífona en el tiempo de Adviento, y significa »Dios con nosotros.» San Pablo también reitera esta idea diciendo: »Si Dios con nosotros, ¿quién contra nosotros.?» Estemos en todo momento, perfectamente conscientes, del siempre presente Dios quien vive en nuestras almas, y que habita en nuestra alma desde el momento del nuestro bautismo, y sigue en nosotros si estamos en estado de gracia. El beato Papa Juan Pablo II, enseñaba con regularidad, de la dignidad innata del ser humano, creado a imagen y semejanza de Dios que fue elevando a hijo adoptivo de Dios por el bautismo. Si todos estuviésemos conscientes de la presencia de Dios, de »Emanuel», Dios con nosotros, si estuviésemos conscientes de la dignidad y destino de nuestro prójimo, ¡no hubieran guerras!
ORACIÓN. El Papa Francisco exhortó al mundo que se uniese en oración el sábado 7 de septiembre. Y con la oración, el Papa nos invitó a ayunar. Cuando contemplamos la vida de Jesús, vemos que Jesús estaba en constante oración, y enseñaba la importancia de la oración. Cuando Jesús murió en la cruz, murió rezando a su Padre Celestial. Jesús también dijo, que algunos demonios sólo pueden se expulsados con la oración y el ayuno. Para volar en alto en la vida espiritual, igual que el águila, necesitamos DOS alas: la de la oración y de la penitencia.
REGALA AMOR – CARIDAD. Nuestra oración, nuestras comuniones, el tiempo que pasamos en adoración ante el Santísimo, debe transformarnos en celosos misioneros del amor y paz de Jesús. Este es el ejemplo que nos dieron san Francisco Xavier, san Pedro Claver y san Pedro Chanel. Tenemos como modelo a Nuestra Señora, Reina de la paz. En los primeros dos misterios del santo Rosario, contemplamos la Anunciación del ángel Gabriel a María Santísima y la Visitación. En la Anunciación, vemos a Nuestra Señora totalmente sumergida en oración. Después de la anunciación del ángel, María, movida por el Espíritu Santo, sale de prisa, para servir a su prima Isabel. Entre el pueblo judío, «shalom» es el saludo que se acostumbra, shalom significa, »la paz sea contigo». La caridad auténtica produce paz y harmonía.
CONCLUSION. En el Santo Sacrificio de la Misa, el sacerdote inicia el saludo de paz con estas palabras: »Señor Jesucristo, que dijiste a tus apóstoles ¨La paz os dejo, mi paz os doy¨ no tengas en cuenta nuestros pecados, sino la fe de tu Iglesia y, conforme a tu palabra, concédele la paz y la unidad. Tú que vives y reinas por los siglos de los siglos”, a lo que todos juntos respondemos “Amén”. El sacerdote se dirige al pueblo de Dios diciendo: “La paz del Señor esté siempre con vosotros”, nosotros respondemos: “Y con tu espíritu”. Sacerdote: “Daos fraternalmente la paz ”.
Este Rito de la paz, va justo antes del Rito de la Comunión. Jesús, el Príncipe de paz, dirigió este saludo a sus amigos, »shalom». Jesús hoy también nos invita, a que dejemos atrás resentimientos y rencores, y a que estemos en paz con Dios, a que tengamos paz en nuestros corazones y en paz con nuestros hermanos y hermanas del mundo.
Que Nuestra Señora, Reina de la paz, nos alcance tan precioso y deseado don de PAZ EN EL MUNDO! ¡Amen!
