Por esa razón Jesús dijo, «POR SU PACIENCIA, USTEDES SALVARÁN SUS ALMAS” No hay mejor ejemplo de paciencia en el mundo, que Nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo, y en la manera de la representación más clara, Su pasión, el sufrimiento y la muerte! ¿Qué Su vida sea un modelo excelente para nosotros a seguir!
1. ROGAR POR LA GRACIA! Todos nosotros, somos puestos a prueba cada día, en muchas formas, circunstancias y situaciones de la vida. Si nos toman desprevenidos, podemos fácilmente estallar, explotar y perder todas las gracias que Dios tiene para nosotros! «Señor, concédeme la gracia, para entender las oportunidades que me das, para practicar la paciencia y crecer en esa importantísima virtud. Jesús mismo afirmó esta verdad, «Por su paciencia, usted salvara sus almas.»
2. PLANES DESBARATADOS: REALMENTE LOS PLANES DE DIOS! Ser honestos con nosotros mismos, todos tenemos nuestros «propios planes», que de hecho, son importantes! Sin embargo, a veces Dios puede hacerle zancadilla a esos planes, le lanza una pelota en curva, cuando usted, espera directa y luego desprevenido, lo sorprenderá con otros planes. Tener Fe, aceptación y conformidad a Su santa voluntad! Nunca olvides que Dios tiene a veces Sus planes—El, es el «la Mente-Maestra» y son más superiores a nuestros planes!
3. ASUNTOS FAMILIARES: LA OPORTUNIDAD DE ORO! Vivir en el contexto de la familia, nos da innumerables oportunidades, para practicar y aprender la virtud de la paciencia! La tardanza por parte de un cónyuge, una tirada de puerta, la comida no muy bien hecha, el bebé gritando sin parar–solo para mencionar unos pocos momentos maravillosos de Gracia, donde podemos practicar la paciencia!
4. ¡REGLA DE ORO! Cuando alguien está realmente probando su paciencia, recordar, la «Regla de Oro» es decir, hacerle a los otros, lo que le gustaría que le hicieran a usted! Esta es la esencia y el resumen del Evangelio. De hecho, nosotros queremos que las personas, sean pacientes con nosotros, por lo tanto, nosotros deberíamos hacer lo mismo con ellos!
5. SER PACIENTE CON DIOS! A menudo ocurre que, le ponemos tiempo limitado, sobre la acción de Dios en nuestra vida. Por naturaleza, somos impacientes y queremos las cosas rápidamente y de acuerdo a nuestro «reloj de tiempo». Nunca olvides, que Dios no es un horno «Micro-ondas»; ni El, es «Una máquina de Cola-cola». La naturaleza de estos dos, son un servicio rápido y eficaz! Dios ve, el panorama general de nuestras vidas, y pueden ver que, para nosotros lo mejor sería que, esperáramos con paciencia! Podemos ver de «A» hasta «B»; Considerando que Dios puede ver desde «A» hasta «Z» y más allá! Dios ha creado el tiempo y vive en el «Eterno ahora», pero es consciente del futuro y lo que, nos tiene guardado! Confía en el «Reloj de Tiempo», de Dios!
6. SER PACIENTE CON UNO MISMO! San Francisco de Sales insiste en, ser paciente con nosotros mismos y nuestras caídas. La Ira y la amargura en nosotros mismos cuando caemos, es una forma oculta de orgullo. ¿Por qué? Realmente tenemos una presuntuosa perspectiva de nuestra «que santa somos realmente!» el venerable Padre Pio Bruno Lanteri–fundador de la Congregación de los Oblatos de la Virgen María—lo pone dulce y al punto en latin, «Nunc coepi»—es decir, «ahora comenzaré!» A pesar de mi miseria, la misericordia de Dios no tiene límites!
7. CONTEMPLAR EL CAMINO DE LA CRUZ Y A JESÚS EN LA PASIÓN. Sin duda, uno de los medios más eficaces para fomentar y mejorar la virtud de la paciencia es, tener ante nuestros ojos un modelo y ese modelo es Jesucristo, quien se llama a sí mismo, «El Camino, la Verdad y la Vida». De una manera más formidable, contemplando a Jesús llevando la Cruz, agobiado con los pecados de la humanidad, cayendo bajo el peso de la Cruz—conforme a la tradición, al menos tres veces–y pacientemente levantándose, para llevar la Cruz al Calvario, donde Él sería crucificado, nos impulsa, a llevar nuestras cruces con suma paciencia! «Te adoramos a O Cristo y te bendecimos, porque por tu Santa Cruz, redimiste al mundo».
8. ESPERANZA! Una de las virtudes que carece la mayoría, en la sociedad moderna es, la virtud de la esperanza! La Esperanza está relacionada con la confianza y el confiar en el Dios amoroso y Providencial de todos. Jesús nos asegura con estas palabras calmadas y consoladoras: «Mi Padre le tiene en la Palma de Su mano y nadie puede arrebatarle, de Su mano…» También, «estaré con ustedes siempre, incluso hasta el final del tiempo… Aún más, recuerda el Salmo del Buen Pastor, «El Señor es mi Pastor y nada me faltará….» Con estas abundantes fuentes de inspiración bíblicas, nuestra Esperanza debería abundar!
9. CIELO! Relacionado con la virtud de la «Esperanza» es la realidad del cielo. Si nosotros pacientemente, lleváramos nuestra cruces físicas, familiares, morales, espirituales y emocionales—en cualquier forma o representación, que puedan venir–y sabemos que al final del camino, el cielo nos espera! «el Ojo no ha visto, ni el oído oyó, ni ha entrado en la mente del hombre, las cosas maravillosas que Dios, ha preparado para aquellos que lo aman». Unos pocos años de paciencia llevando mi Cruz, y una eternidad de gozo con Dios, los Ángeles y Santos en el cielo! Bien vale la pena!
10. Nueve meses embarazada viajaba en un burro a través del frío, el viento y la lluvia, rechazada—no hubo cabida en la posada, obligada a huir a un país extranjero, donde ella no conocía la gente, el idioma, la cultura, ni tenia ninguna seguridad, perdiendo a su hijo a los 12 años de edad durante tres días y tres noches, dolorosamente siguiendo a su Divino Hijo, hacia el Cerro del Calvario, contemplando con sus ojos y su corazón, sus muchas caídas y contusiones; y finalmente estar parada las tres horas más largas de su vida, debajo de la Cruz, cuando su hijo derramaba la Preciosa Sangre que ella le había dado, y finalmente viendo y escuchando que Él, expiraba —todo esto fue, manifestaciones de heroica paciencia. Que Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, alcance para nosotros la virtud necesaria de la paciencia en esta vida, para merecer la corona de gloria en el cielo, recordando las palabras de su Divino Hijo: «Por su paciencia ustedes salvaran sus almas.»
