Aquí tenemos una escalera con 10 peldaños que nos llevará de formasegura al cielo.
1. ORACIÓN. St. Alfonso Ligorio afirma: «el que reza mucho se salvará; quien no ora mucho se condenará». Conclusión: esforcémonos cada día de mejorar nuestra vida de oración!
2. PECADO. Nuestro enemigo mortal número uno es el pecado!Los Santos son diferentes en muchos aspectos, pero tienen esto en común: morir antes de pecar. (St. Domingo Savio)
3. CONFESIÓN. Sin embargo, si caemos, nunca ceder ante eldesaliento, pero tener confianza aún más en la misericordia de Dios. Hacer unabuena confesión y volver a la alegría y la paz del alma!
4. LA MISERICORDIA Y EL PERDÓN. «Sean misericordiosos como es misericordiosos vuestro Padre Celestial». Nunca buscar venganza; dar misericordia. Este es elmejor atributo del corazón de Jesús y esperamos que sea el suyo.
5. FORMACIÓN PERMANENTE. Como seguidores de Cristo, debemos hacer un esfuerzo concreto para crecer en el conocimiento de nuestra fe a través del estudio. Jesús dijo que debemos amar a Dios con nuestro corazón, alma, fuerza yMENTE!!! Esto exige estudio—un recordatorio constante del Papa Benedicto XVI.
6. LA OBLIGACIÓN DIARIA BIEN HECHA. Lucía de Fátima le preguntó a nuestra señora cuál era la penitencia qué Dios quería de ellos y María dijo que realizara las obligaciones diarias bien hechas. S. Teresa de Lisieux hizo famosa su «caminito» que consiste en hacer nuestra obligación ordinaria con amor extraordinario.
7. NUESTRA LENGUA Y PALABRAS. San Santiago es terminante y al punto: «Uno debe ser lento para hablar yrápido para escuchar». La persona que no controla su lengua nuncaalcanzará a la verdadera santidad. ¿Con qué frecuencia el decir una palabra sin reflexión se ha traducido en calamidad!!!!!
8. PENITENCIA. Para superar lo viejo de uno, la carne,la concupiscencia innata, la oración es clave. Sin embargo, debemos agregar ala oración, penitencia! Un pájaro no puede volar con un ala; Tampoco podemosnosotros volar alto en la vida espiritual sin las dos alas de: oración ypenitencia!
9. MISA Y LA SAGRADA COMUNIÓN. Sin duda el camino más rápido hacia la santidad es el encuentro directo y acogimiento de Jesús que es la fuente y cumbre de la santidad. Formar el hábito de la Comunión ferviente y frecuente. Jesús es el «Santo de losSantos». La Comunión nos da el mismo Sagrado Corazón de Jesús con sus virtudes más sublimes.
10. MARÍA y el Santo Rosario. Al rezar el santo Rosario, María intercede por nosotros y alcanza para nosotros sus virtudes. Nosvolvemos como aquellos que nos hemos asociado. Por pasar tiempo con Jesús yMaría, nos convertimos en Santos porque de hecho son santos. «Santa María,Madre de Dios, ruega por nosotros pecadores ahora y en la hora de nuestramuerte». Amén
